Hi my name is Sue and I am the Deputy Play Leader.
Training: NVQ Level 2 - Childcare,Learning and Development. NVQ LEVEL 3 - Childcare, Learning and Development Early Years First Aid Level 2 - food Safety in Catering Child Protection training - Ongoing.I started working in the childcare sector, immediately after leaving school and I have been happily doing so for 16 years.
My first employment was as a trainee Nursery Nurse, where I was able to gain the neccessary qualifications and went on to become the Deputy Manager.
I then joined a local primary school as a Teaching Assistant. I also led language groups fro children aged 4 to 7 years, who had speech or comprehension difficulties.
I then joined the team at Lydney Early Learners. I was thrilled to be able to join a fantastic team and contribute to its continued success.
Both my children have attended the setting as I felt that it is the best pre-school setting available.
